A seasoned Digital and ICT specialist, I bring over 23 years of experience in Information Technologies and Systems, Telecommunications, and Digital Transformation. Since 2022, I have been leading the regional digital transformation coordination for the ECOWAS Commission, where I am dedicated to driving digital transformation across the region. My work involves developing key regional instruments such as policies, strategies, regulations, and capacity-building initiatives to foster the advancement of egovernment, to support e-applications initiatives specifically e-commerce, and to work toward the adoption of emerging disruptive technologies. In addition to my role at ECOWAS, I participated to some activities of the African Union’s Artificial Intelligence Working Group, and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Digital Trade Committee that negotiated the Digital Trade Protocol. My commitment to enhancing digital infrastructure and promoting technological innovation plays a crucial role in shaping a more connected and efficient regional landscape.
