About NADPA-RAPDP
NADPA: The Network of African Data Protection Authorities (NADPA-RAPDP), founded in September 2016 in Ouagadougou, consists of over 30 (Thirty) Data Protection Authorities across Africa and observers who are potential members, awaiting approval of their membership applications by the board and plenary members. Its primary objective is to establish a platform for exchanges and cooperation among its members while amplifying Africa’s voice in global partnerships. The aim is achieved through Annual General Meetings (AGM) and Conferences that bring all Data Protection Authorities in Africa together for peer review and chatting the course for the new year. Seven editions of such AGMs have been held with each marked by impressive turnout of over 1500 participants and meaningful impact on Africa’s Data Protection landscape.
