Mr. Chuks Okpaka is the Azure Business Group Manager for Microsoft Africa Subsidiary. In this role, Chuks is the strategic subject leader for the Azure infrastructure business and is responsible for planning and directing the execution of the Azure business strategy in the continent. He is the strategic go-to-market lead for the Azure infrastructure business in Africa.
 
Prior to joining Microsoft, Chuks spent 20 years with Hewlett Packard Nigeria, where his last held position was the Regional Managing Director role responsible for the Anglo West African region. Chuks is an astute IT professional and business leader whose industry experience spans Financial Services, Public/Government, Education, Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, Retails, Media and Entertainment. Chuks also spent 2 years as a Senior Lecturer at Dorben Polytechnic where he helped to blend and infuse current technological trends into the student’s curriculum.
 
He holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from University of Port Harcourt and two Masters degrees—M.Sc. in Information Systems Management from University of Liverpool UK, and MPhil. in Management – Leadership and Organizational Change from Walden University, USA. He was recently awarded a Honorary Doctor of Public Administration by the Dayspring Christian University, Florida.
